New REDS

Rafa Benitez had signed few good players in his assult to the EPL Premiership Title next season. Latest addition seing the much talked about Fernando Torres making his swift from Atletico Maldrid after 12 year there. Though he is not the final puzzle to the Rafa set-up, it is believed he is the most significant signing to help the team in getting the much needed goals. The lad had been given the legendary No. 9 is understand to be the next "God" in the making after Robbie Fowler. The fact that he is young and can play either with a partner or lone striker make him even special & fitted the bill to bring success to the Reds.

The other two addition were Ryan Babel & Yossi Benayoun. Both players have the trade Rafa require. Babel can play either as a winger or striker. Whereas Benayoun is an attacking midfielder shall provide creativy in midfield which will give much needed support upfront. Both can cover either side of the wing & even can cover as second forward should Rafa prefer to play a lone striker.

With line-up for forward & midfield position almost complete, Rafa will look at the defence. Gabriel Heinze seem to be his main target as the lad can play either as a centreback or left back. Currently, the Reds only have Riise, Aurelio & Aberlao playing as the leftback. Heinze not only provide cover on the left but to the centreback as well. With only Carragher, Agger & Hyypia the only experiene players, the rest like Jack Hobbs, Gabriel Paletta etc still relatively inexperience. So, Heinze's arrival will give stability to the team.

Though Rafa missed out on signing some big names such as Carlos Tevez, Samuel Eto'o & Flourent Malouda, they won't be miss by the Koptites. The signing of Torres, Babel & Benayoun are good enough to gel in to the current squad and it is good enough to shake-off the "pretender" tag from the team, thus making us as a real contender this coming season.
